Project Details: Construction of an improved storm drain system to accommodate the infrastructure of a new mixed-use development in downtown Jacksonville. Scope includes dewatering and over-excavation of an existing retention pond. Installation of new storm drains across an exiting four-lane roadway with some excavations as deep as 18’. Relocation of water mains to accommodate new storm drain. Construction of onsite storm drains system draining into the new retention pond surrounded by a poured-in-place concrete retaining wall. Storm drain sizes ranged from 18” to 72” in diameter. New 12” sanitary sewer, potable water and roadway were also constructed onsite.
